Whew, I am READY!

I think there has only been one other time where I have been this ready for summer to come.  Some people just hate school in general and would never come back if they didn't have to, but that's not me.  I'm actually really looking forward to senior year, and I genuinely enjoy school.  I just NEED a break, and this summer is gonna provide some much needed TLC.  I'm almost there...just a month and a half to 

Junior year has definitely kicked my butt this year.  Between choir/girls' ensemble, AP English, and 6 other classes that have proved to be no joke, I have been running and running and running for the past 7 months, and I am ready to be done.  I don't want to sound ungrateful for my education, though (hopefully it doesn't sound like that already!).  I know there are thousands of kids out there who would love to have the educational opportunities that I have, and I have to remind myself to be thankful for the gift of school.  That being said, I will also be grateful for my 2 and a half month long summer vacation. ;)

I think I see a gray hair...

Ok, so studying for finals is making me a little crazy.  I'm trying so hard to focus but there's so many other things I would rather be doing than studying.  I don't wanna be freaking out tomorrow, though!  Plus, I really wanna go to my friend's party tomorrow!  I think I see a gray hair coming on. *sigh* That's when you know the struggle is real haha!

Stressing out...

So, I have an important test in algebra coming up next hour, and I'm freaking out.  I didn't study and it's the last test before our final, which is next week.  I have a draft due for my newspaper final today, and it's only half way done.  Then, I have back-to-back soccer games today and tomorrow.  All I can say is, the weekend cannot, and I repeat, CANNOT, come fast enough.  Geez.

I cannot wait until summer

Lord have mercy, I CANNOT wait until the last day of school. I have so many things to study for and so many projects to finish. I have 2 stories I still need to write for newspaper too. Grr. My life...but anyway, I got my scores back for the PLAN test (practice ACT) today and I did pretty good. That was a high point of my day, and hopefully that's a good sign that I'll do well on the real ACT too! Sincerely, A Test-Taking Self-Proclaimed Nerd who is ready for summer!
