So, just yesterday, I had the privilege of going to my school's homecoming football game, which is always fun to watch. We beat Plymouth Educational Center 45-6, so I was a happy camper. Our homecoming dance isn't actually for another 2 weeks, but for the first time, I'm actually planning on going to this one! I'm really excited, and quite a few of my friends are going as ell, which will make it 10x more fun. I haven't even started looking for a dress or anything yet, so I'll keep you updated on the hunt for that. :)

The vocal department...
So, this year, I am WAY more involved with the vocal department at my school compared to last year. Last year was my first year being involved, and I was only in beginning choir. This year, I'm in concert choir (varsity choir) and A Chord (the girls' vocal ensemble). I'm a singin' soul haha! It's a lot more work and commitment, but at the same time, I'm really enjoying it and I think it's going to be fun. Varsity travels a lot, so that's gonna be challenging with school/homework/other commitments, but I'm determined to make it work. I'll keep you updated on any cool vocal events that take place. :)

Football, friends, and fun
I just got back from a fun night out at a high school football game, and it was so much fun! One of my best friends, Lauren, and I arranged it where I got to go to her home team's game and cheer them on. Two of my other friends from back in middle school were cheer leading for the game and playing in the game (on the opposing team). It's always fun to show my face every once in a while since I go to school so far from the rest of my friends. I was cheering really loudly for people I've never seen before in my life, and I had the best time. There's not too many things I enjoy more than catching up with friends and just hanging out. It's always a good ol' time! :) Well, until next time, au revoir!

Homework...whoa
I'm only two weeks into the school year, and the homework is already starting to get heavy. Lord have mercy. Feeling a little bogged down today, but I'll get through it one way or another.

New school year!!!
I am sooooo sorry that I haven't posted in so long, but I figured, since it's the beginning of a new school year, I might as well kick it off with a new post. I actually started about 2 weeks ago, but it's the thought that counts! ;)
So, believe it or not, I'm a junior this year (upperclassman, woot woot!), and I think my schedule is pretty tough. I have world history, drama, physics, honors pre-calculus, concert choir, French 3, and AP English. I'm really excited for French this year because I have a really good teacher, so hopefully I'll be a boss at French by the end of the year (Parlez-moi francais? Oui, oui, je vais!). I'm also really looking forward to getting really into varsity choir because it's a big commitment and we travel a lot, but it seems like a lot of fun. I'll try to keep you all posted with what goes down in my relatively drama-free-but-somehow-pretty-interesting life. :)
By the way, it seems like I've had a spike of Russian viewers recently, which is SUPER exciting. Hello to everyone in Russia!!!
